David “Buddy” Nobriga – Chairman
Kahakuloa, Maui

Chairman Nobriga is a cattle rancher on Maui. He is the Chairman of Maui Soda and Ice Works, Ltd and for West Maui Soil and Water Conservation District since 1958. He is the CEO of Nobriga’s Ranch , Inc. and a part-time cowboy for Kaupo Ranch, Ltd. He previously served on the State Commission on Water Resource Management and as a member of the Board of Agriculture for the State of Hawaii. He has been a member of the Board since 1982.

Faith K. Okabe
Waimanalo, Oahu

Ms. Okabe is a cut flower and fresh herb grower on the island of Oahu. She has been a member of the Board since 1987.

Joseph M. Souki
Wailuku, Maui

Mr. Souki serves as an outside director. He is a State Legislator with the House of Representatives as a well a self-employed businessman. He has been a member of the Board since 1990.

Mamoru Kaneshiro
Omao, Kauai

Mr. Kaneshiro is a hog farmer with 200 sow operation (farrow to finish) and operates a hog slaughter house since 1966 the island of Kauai. He is the President and Secretary of M & H Kaneshiro Farms since 1983. He has been a member of the Board since 1977.

Michael G. Fitzgerald – Vice Chairman
Hanalei, Kauai

Vice-Chairman Fitzgerald is a taro farmer on the island of Kauai. His affiliations include the Fitzgerald Farms, Kauai Taro Growers Association, Hanalei Poi Co., Chong’s Poi Shop, Puueo Poi Shop and a member of the Kauai Farm Bureau. He has been a member of the Board since 1987.

Raymond M. Kawamata
Kamuela, Hawaii

Mr. Kawamata is President of Kawamata Farms, Inc. which is a family owned nursery that specializes in the production of greenhouse tomatoes marketed in the State. Grower-Shipper of cut roses and tomatoes. He has been a member of the Board since 1995.

Wendell T. Koga
Honolulu, Hawaii

Mr. Koga serves as an outside director and was the Executive Director of the Hawaii Farm Bureau from 1984 to 2004. He is currently an Agricultural consultant.  He has been a member of the Board since 1992.

William W. Stearns – First Vice Chairman
Kapoho, Hawaii

Vice-Chairman Stearns passed away in August 2005.  He was a part-time cattle rancher on the island of Hawaii. He previously was the President and CEO of Murrayair, Ltd. Murrayair, Ltd. is engaged in aerial application of materials for sugar plantations and other agricultural enterprises. He has been the trustee of the Hilo Boarding School for over 50 years and a Rotarian in Hilo. He was a member of the Board since 1982 until his passing in 2005.
