Farm Credit Services of Hawaii, ACA Scholarship Program
Farm Credit Services of Hawaii, ACA recognizes the role of education in
the ongoing viability of agriculture in the state of Hawaii. We remain
committed to agriculture and to help show our support we offer two $1,000
scholarship each school year. To be eligible for the scholarship the
following guidelines apply – Candidates must:

Have graduated or will be graduating from High School in the year of
application.

Supply proof of enrollment at the college, university, or trade
school they will be attending.

Have the intent to further their education in an agricultural
related field.

Provide two letters of recommendation (other than family members).

Provide a copy of their last report card or transcripts.

Submit a short essay on “What future does Tropical Agriculture have
for the young.” (500 word minimum).

Provide a list of agriculturally related activities (4-H, Future
Farmers of America, etc.) they are involved in, or have been
involved in.
Note - This scholarship can be used at the school of the recipient's choice,
(i.e. college, university, or trade school) to begin or continue their
education as an underclassman (graduate students are not eligible).
